What bimviewer.org is
This site offers a free BIM model viewer and a set of companion tools (auditing, merging, compression, data extraction) that run entirely in your browser — your files are processed on your device and never reach us. Advertising funds the free tier; if paid features launch, they will carry their own terms at that time.
Acceptable use
- Any lawful use is welcome, including commercial project work.
- Don't attack or overload the service, harvest it with automated traffic at abusive rates, or pass it off as something you built.
- Make sure you are entitled to work with the models you open here — processing happens on your machine, under your responsibility.
No warranty
Everything on this site is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind. We care about correctness and test against real project files, but we cannot promise that every model renders faithfully, that every export keeps every property, or that the site never goes down. Professional decisions need your own verification: check quantities, converted geometry and extracted data against the source model following your project's QA rules. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for losses connected to using the site.
Intellectual property
Models you open remain entirely yours — they never pass through our hands, and we assert no claim over them or over any file a tool generates from them. The site's own text, design and code belong to us or are licensed to us; the open-source BIM libraries underneath belong to their authors under their respective licenses.
Changes
These terms may evolve alongside the service; the date at the top tells you when they last did. Using the site after an update counts as accepting it. Questions: [email protected].
